HONOR refreshes MagicBook 14, 15 with new AMD Ryzen processors

The refreshed laptops feature AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processors with six cores and six threads. The Magicbook 14 will be available from September 21, 2020 starting at €749.9. The MagicBook 15 comes a bit later, with a release date in October and a starting price of €699.9. HONOR did not discuss any potential release of the laptops in the United States. Both laptops appear to have sales at the moment.

HONOR pairs the new Ryzen 5 processors along with enhanced Radeon Vega graphics, which should deliver solid performance for gaming, photo and video editing, and editing large documents. The MagicBook 14 and 15 have 512GB of PCIe SSD storage and 8GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM.

The previous version of the MagicBook 14 got marked down in our review due to its older internals. The refreshed lineup mitigates that by bumping up to newer processors.

Both new laptops from HONOR are light, with the MagicBook 14 and 15 coming in at 1.38kg and 1.53kg, respectively.
